The illustration seems to be incomplete since it doesn't show the very broad band of white elastic at the top of the skirt. This could be cute on someone with a super small waist who likes a very full skirt, but not for me.

OK, so I just started at Walmart and dress code is khaki on the bottom. Got sick of capris, wanted a cute skirt. This fit the bill perfectly. I wear it on my hips so its not too short, and its do-able with the 3" elastic waistband, which is not shown in the picture. The fabric is like butter, as I said above and best of all, I ordered it on Sat, got it on Tuesday. Haven't washed it yet, but since the fabric is high end. I'm not concerned. Get this skirt if you like cute but not a mini.

I bought this skirt because I was desperate for a black skirt that I could wear during clinical rotations and also during the evening, to church, etc. I have trouble fitting skirts because I am shaped a lot like betty boop - big chest, small waist, larger hips and thighs. This skirt is elastic at the top - which accomodates my waist, and has lots of fabric - great for hips and thighs. I can dress it up or down. I was also impressed with the fabric. It's heavier, but not heavy. It isn't see-through, should hold up on the bicycle, bus, walking, sitting, etc.
