Serve my purposes well. Good fit outta-the-box or after the addition of insoles but either way required a week break-in period before they really felt good & that 1st week could be rather painful especially if not on your feet, such as when driving. After that 1st week all was quite well no matter if I was on or off my feet.

I probably could get away with a half-size smaller but even though the wider cushioned steel toes are the most comfortable I've had I didn't want to risk a tighter fit although I might go with a size 7 if I get another pair.

Handled walking on fresh, hot, blacktop (right outta the chute, on the truck) very well. I've had glued-on-only soles slide off in the past.. A little heavy but not too much so considering they're heavy-duty, rubber-coated steel toed with thick durable soles.

About as much as one could expect for a "Slip-on" with no laces for adjustment.

The less-aggressive sole is perfect for walking on freshly paved blacktop without marring it like a heavy-lug sole can. I won't wear these to work in winter, early spring nor late autumn since they're not insulated nor waterproof if puddles are above the elastic side gores although didn't leak in puddles below there...

I normally go through 2 to 3 pair of $30-$35 Big-Box store steel-toe boots in a season but I won't be surprised if I get a few to several seasons out of this one pair of Oliver AT 55-223's & that will be worth the double price I paid even after all the STP Edeal & discounts. I probably wouldn't have even tried them at their full price...

I purchased these boots for work mainly due to their style, and the fact that they were slip on. They seemed well made and durable, however for me that translated to a fit that wasn't quite right. They're a little on the heavy side, and felt like they would require some breaking in. I didn't want to chance it so I ordered the other pair of Oliver boots that were lace up, of the same line, and I'm pleased with that pair. All Oliver boots seem like they will take a beating. For the right person these boots would probably be a perfect fit. Just not for me.

Awesome work boots, I did my research and couldn't find any ken in the U.S. that carried these until I found them here at STP. Price is way better than those other slip-on boots from Australia. Thank you so much, Lou.
