    We got this pack for a high energy Ridgeback who needs to get "more" out of his twice daily workouts. Seems to do the trick! First use had him slipping on the hardwood floors as he tried to adjust to the weight . . . but all's good!

    I took my 55 pound puppy hiking on the AT for a week and the pack didn't slide around and, as long as the weight was evenly distributed, could be adjusted to be a perfect fit. She was able to carry food for ten days without a problem. Not waterproof at all, but double ziplocs did the trick.

    This back pack gives my large, high-energy dog an improved workout. It fits extremely well. Apart from water for herself she carries our snacks, tissues, keys, rain hoods and other small items. All weight has to be evenly distributed in both pockets.

    Kind of a pain in the butt to adjust straps. The buckles are located under another strap so you have to have nimble, small fingers to get to them. Also, some directions on proper fitting would have been nice. I still think it is a decent pack though and not one that my dog is able to scrape off on a tree!
