OllyDog Dog Pack - Large

I knew this before buying, thanks to other reviews--pack slips if not packed evenly side-to-side because there is no strap between legs. I will modify to correct this. Seems well made, and my German Shepherds will wear without complaint!

Just breaking in, & getting the GS used to it. Will use for hiking, & camping.

Our German Shepherd dog's "job" is to collect trash on the side of the road during our walks. This backpack is perfect for this purpose because it opens and closes easily, is washable and she doesn't seem to mind wearing it.

The Ollydog Dog Pack is great! My dog Murphy really loves it. I pick it up to put it on him, and he bounces around like a puppy. It does slide a little, so be sure to add an even amount of weight to each side. I used a small book and a water bottle in each. Murphy weighs 100 lbs and it would fit a bigger dog.

I used this product for my 70lb Husky Mix "Timbert". I wouldn't have gone any smaller, due to his huge chest, but this pack fits him really well. He has worn blaze vests in the past to keep him from getting shot during wolf hunting season in Idaho, but this is going to take some getting used to. He tried to remove it but couldn't, and it fits snug on his back when adjusted so that it does not shift from side to side with weight evenly distributed. Our Basset Hound has a Kelty, and this feels just as durable, although maybe a little heavier.

Fits great on our Giant Schnauzer. Looks great and is easy to use. Lots of room for water and snacks(for us). My only gripe is it tends to slide from side to side. Takes just a second to adjust. Great pack for the money.

This is a great dog pack. It is large enough for my Newfoundland and does not cause him irritation. Its great that he can carry his own food and water. You must try to load evenly on each side to keep it from hanging to one side.

This is the first pack we've had (we also ordered one in medium) and we use it on daily walks with three of our four dogs. They are well-made packs, but I'm not experienced enough to know how they would hold up in rugged conditions. However, they're great for exercise and training purposes (we add water bottles). One dog loves his (he prances around with it on!) while the others have adjusted and are better behaved and more focused during our twice daily walks. We will try them at the Farmer's Market when it opens.
