OllyDog Microsuede-Berber Fleece Dog Bed - Extra-Large, Rectangular

In the description of this dog bed it stated in "LxWxD that it was 28x42x2." It was not even close. It was 28x38x2. Someone needs to put proper sizing for their products. In addition the pad inside can not be taken out to wash the outside fabric.

Fits perfect in large and medium crates. Dogs like it but my pit/lab mix chewed the label off first time left in crate and pulled some stuffing out. I turned it over and use other side & no additional damage yet. I bought a spare at these good prices. For non-chewers, it's a perfect bed in or out of crate. We took it for out of town trip and pit/lab laid on it on floor all night outside of her crate.

I would agree with several other reviews that this isn't "extra large". It will be fine for in the car or when traveling but I don't think it will replace the nice thick, big bed we got from [@]. For the money, I am not sure I would recommend it.

Bought this for Christmas for my golden retriever. He's about 65 lbs. and it fits him and our living room well. He loves it and fell asleep within minutes of laying on it. Would be good for a large travel crate also. It's an extra large but it may be a bit small for a dog larger than mine. Overall good product that I would purchase again.

Both the positive and negative reviews are correct: they are not particularly thick, but they seem comfortable. I ordered two, because the reviews said they are thin, thinking I would double them in the dog's crate. But in the end I put one in the crate, which it fits perfectly, and one in the living room. Our 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy took to them immediately. She also chewed on the label and strap, which had to be cut off. I have washed and dried one of them, and it came out fine.

I have bought a lot of dog beds and this bed is very unsubstantial. Best use is to protect a couch or car seat. Not thick enough for a crate or floor.

I'm glad we got two. The dogs have rejected all other pet beds in the house in favor of these.

I don't know what Olly Dog puts in their beds, but both the cat and the dog gravitate to them. We have this fleece version and a lighter weight one and they're both well used. They launder nicely, fit into crates and pack up easily for travel. They're not overly thick, but it doesn't seem to matter, the 11 year old dog finds them very comfortable. Thumbs up.

These dog beds are fantastic for use in kennel/crate for large dogs. I have two german shepherds, and unfortunately they think these things are delicious. I have yet to find any material that my pups can't and won't demolish, so there is no downgrade of the rating for their eating these with glee. Still, they lie flat, are comfortable, and fit perfectly into a large dog crate. Would work great on a back seat in the car or on the floor in a hotel room as well. Just wish my bone-headed pups wouldn't pull them apart almost as fast as I buy them!

I expected a thicker pad as the description said 2" thick...barely an inch thick really!! But my Golden still really likes to sleep on it.
