OllyDog Pet Food Bowl - Large

It works......

My 2 GSD's come with me whenever I get out into the woods and they carry their own gear but a bowl was lacking. The price was the first thing that attracted me, light weight and very durable. Got one in red for my "girl" and one in blue for our "boy." I didn't give them a perfect 5 star because nothing is perfect but these come close.They do move around when the dogs eat but they are always hungry and very active, it may not be the bowls but rather the dogs!

I use the bowl for water during road trips. I love that it does not tip over and that it can be tied to maintain cleanliness

Works perfectly. Large size is great for travel.

The bowl's sinch portion is nice for storing food but it does get annoying when I have to fold it around the outside of the bag. The large is way too large for my 60 lb dog. A one time serving for her could probably fit into a small bowl. Why would you want to store or carry around anymore than that in the bowl? You would have to take out anymore than one feeding portion in order to feed your dog.

I liked the design right off, I'd seen something like this bowl before. But when I filled it up with food, the drawstring wouldn't close all the way. Not good for hauling little kibbles around for a dog. Also, becuase I couldn't pull the string all the way tight, my dog ended up getting into the food prematurely, eating all the food and saving none. I will probably rip the seam and install my own drawstring.

Purchased this for backpacking, 70 lb lab mix. Was great for use, but needed extra attention to clean wet food (dehydrated food mixed with dry kibble) from the folds inside. Didn't care for the draw string feature, so cut that out.

This is a very well made bowl and it seems durable and is a useful size. However, the flap that is supposed to cinch up does not even come close to closing and there is no way to pull it shut if your intention is to keep food in it when you and your dog are on the move. So it ends up being a conventional soft travel bowl with an extraneous flap that is useless and that you must fold inside the bowl in order for your dog to eat or drink from it. If you keep the flap on the outside it makes it too tall or high for it to be useful. That said the material appears to be rip-stop nylon and the stitching seems to be very strong. And it is made in the Phillipines, not China if that matters. However, I am still not certain I am going to keep it due to the "flap" issue.
