“I take my dog backpacking and have heard great things about having a cinching dog food bowl. The concept is great. In action, I've seen it work very well. Some dogs just don't eat everything put in front of them all the time - mine being one of them. So, for those meals, it'd be nice to be able to cinch the extra food up and throw it in a backpack. Other companies' cinching dog bowls DO work. I've seen it happen. This company's bowl does not. The fabric at the top is too thick and the bowl will not even close halfway shut without a fight. On top of that, it is on the heavier end of dog gear, and for dogs and people alike, every ounce does add up. The third strike is that the bowl appears far too deep to easily eat out of. It looks like it's for a horse rather than a dog. I haven't tried this bowl out beyond attempting to close it. It's going back to STP. I'm still in the market for the same type of bowl, just not from this company - at least until they make improvements.”
