“I haven't used the bowls for hiking yet but they are the perfect size for my Aussie and seem to stand up (literally) well. I could see how small pieces of food might slip through since the drawstring doesn't seem to close the opening fully. Honestly, you could just put a piece of paper or a baggie in there before closing it if you are concerned about the food falling out. The price was right and the product is functional - and matches her dog pack. Well worth it.”
