“I bought this coat for my 14 year old daughter. We live in Wisconsin and she skis, and I really didn't want to have to get 2 coats (one for skiing and one for every day). This is a little longer than most ski jackets, but not so long that it interferes with skiing, and it has lots of features she loves (snow-skirt, inner fleece cuffs, lots of pockets). It's also super warm for the really cold weather we have here. And best of all it looks totally cute on. She gets compliments from other girls and adults. If she didn't own it, I would get one for myself. It is not bulky at all - not compared to down, and in fact I was worried that it wouldn't be warm enough. But the insulation is great.”
