    I ski in the pacific north west and have worn these pants 2x. They are warm and comfortable, and I've had many positive comments on the looks. The only detail that could be improved are front pockets that are a bit shallow.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I am a 30-31 waist, and I got these in small (29-31) which just fit (as opposed to my North Face Monte Cargo's that are also size small, but fit more like a 30-32). But if I gain any winter weight, I'm hosed. I also got these in Bone, and they get dirty just by looking at them. They don't breathe very well making them a little too warm, if you know what I mean: it's like wearing nylon track pants a bit. Although these make a cool "wwwrrrrtt wwwrrrtt" sound when you walk because they're cords, instead of the "zzzttt zzzttt" sound of my GTX and NF. I find the NF more comfy and practical. I may return these.

    Super ski/snowboard pants. Great fit, style, and comfort. The corduroy fabric is super soft, and you won't slide down the hill very far with these on.
