Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Designed for snowsports. There is a buttonable snowskirt inside, plus elastic wrist cuffs with thumbholes. The hood is comfortable and doesn't cut off to much vision. Great freedom of movement. Plenty of chest pockets inside for various things, including a pocket to keep a water hose from freezing.
