I was a bit concerned about the size but I usually wear a medium coat so I ordered a medium and it worked great.

It's rare to find such a versatile, waterproof, breathable hooded jacket which can range from a cold weather outdoor sport to a moderately dressy event (yes, even in a nice dress). If only it fit properly. I tried on this Orage jacket in Medium and was disappointed it fit snug in the hips. I could still sit, yet it just didn't seem workable. It fit fine everywhere else -- arms, length, shoulders, chest -- and even showed curves nicely, accented by the lovely ruffles. Materials seemed high quality, and the pockets, etc. were wonderful, though it was heavier (not bulkier) than other jackets. I opted for a similar, slightly more budget-friendly ZeroXposur Medium jacket in a dark grey denim pattern, front snaps along the zipper and roomier hips. My size ranges from Medium to Large, often depending on chest roominess -- not hips.
    • Best Uses: Outdoor activities, play, Sports To Dining Table, Work
    • Cons: No 2-way Zip Or Snaps, Snug Hips Cannot Adjust, Weighs More Than Others
    • Pros: Casual To Almost Dressy, Fashionable, Nice pockets, Stylish

Overall a great jacket. The L fit ok, but was tight in the shoulders. I worried it would be restrictive on movement. I am looking for a ski jacket that I can also wear to work. I'm 5'9" and 165#'s. Probably an XL would be better, but alas, out of stock.

This is a super cute jacket that is both warm and functional. It runs small, so I recommend getting a size up- especially since you will need a fleece or other base layer underneath it in really cold weather. I love that the hood zips off, and the neck is really high to keep the wind off your face in really windy conditions.

This is a unique ski jacket which had the potential to be great. But I found the fit a bit awkward, especially around the sleeves. I'm sending this back.
