This is a nice two-color thin fleece top, but the very large script writing on the side ("ORAGE") is strange and detracts from the design. I wish I had known about the writing - I wouldn't've bought it.

These arrived and were put to use by my 11 year old daughter immediately, we had our first snow. Kept her very cozy & dry while building snow forts, making snow angels & snowball fights with her brother. These will be perfect for snowboarding & skiing this winter. We selected the brown to go with another brand of jacket, perfect match!

The advice to order one size larger was sound. I generally wear a size 4 in pants and the xs(6)fits very well except for a gap in the back of the waist. This problem is easily solved with a belt. The more tailored fit is very flattering and they fit well with a pair of thin capilene bottoms underneath. My knee pads also fit well underneath. I generally ski hard and hot so I don't like much bulk under my pants, but if you like to wear thick fleece, a larger size might be necessary to accommodate more bulk. I have not used them skiing yet, but I have been impressed by Orage products in the past so I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I don't think I've ever seen an Orage jacket for sale in a ski shop in the states and was a little hesitant to buy my first one because of that. I also got the Onyx which is another GREAT jacket and was perfect for a 10-day trip to Snowbird. These things are really warm and made for cold temps. You'll be really glad you have this when the temps are in the mid 30's to probably sub-zero with a layer or two. You'll want something lighter for spring skiing you'll probably melt in this jacket if you get a day of 50 degrees and sun. Comes with the hand gaiters, a face mask that pulls out, plenty of pockets, a hood.

I didn't buy these for skiing. I don't ski, but I really like these for what I intend to use them - that is, early or late season motorcycle riding and late season golf. I hope that they perform as I expect. They seem to be really well made, but too warm to test any of the properties in July!
