Reviewed by DaniO from California on Monday, May 12, 2014these are great, they provide protection from the sun (in +100F i didn't feel the heat on my calves) and never felt my calves tired, yes they are TIGHT, and difficult to put on and off...but they are worth the effort, plus look awesome and also they've saved me some bruises and scratches on singletrack trails where bushes wip you like hell..totally recomend them; I bought small and were true to size!, only thing is as i have a high arches on my feet so i gotta take em off inmediately after I'm done or they'll cut blood flow on my arch veins but that may not happen to you if u have normal feet hehe....I would totally buy them again...and I will as soon as I need another pair..
Reviewed by I forgot............... from CA on Monday, September 30, 2013I suggest using a Tailor Tape measure..........purchased 4 pair so far..........yes, tight but that's the name of the game folks!
My one Con is the stir up. Minor but still a small issue for my use.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Houston Runner from Houston, TX on Friday, August 31, 2012These work reall well, but make sure you get the correct size. I originally ordered a small based on the size chart provided, but they were so tight I could not fit them over my feet. I returned for a Medium, and they fit much better (still tough to get on, but they are compression sleeves, so that is good). Even with the larger size, the compression is very good and they stay up well over the course of the day.

Reviewed by Jamie from Alaska on Monday, July 16, 2012Please disregard Sierra's sizing recommendations. I have a 14" calf and used Sierra's recommended XS. I cannot even begin to get the item over my foot. My interpretation of the manufacturer's size chart on the product reads:
XS - smaller than 14" calf
S - smaller than 15" calf
M - smaller than 16" calf
L - larger than 16" calf
Could not get the product on to see how it would feel or perform. Sending it back. Even using the manufacturer's sizing, I think it runs small. With a 14" calf, I think I would try the M.
