Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by rez runner from AZ on Sunday, May 26, 2013The white sounded like it would be too transparent, and it really was. Nice tights if they were available in a darker shade.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Loves Nordic Skiing from Loveland, CO on Tuesday, February 19, 2013Nice quality compression tight. I bought these to wear nordic skiing under my ski pants or while running in cooler weather. They do run a bit small so I ordered one size up. Compression tights are suppose to be tight on and they fit perfect.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by bks from Alta Loma, ca on Wednesday, November 28, 2012The product looked great, high quality, but we are returning. I bought this for my girlfriend.
The sizing is strange. They have numbers like typical woman's sizing 6,8,10,12 etc. However, a 6 in an XS, 8 is a small etc. Don't understand why in the US they did not just put s,m,l.
Make sure you check the sizing info. I bought some Zoot products for men recently, they do sizing in 1,2,3,4, and 5. So naturally you would check the sizing info since men's sizes don't run that way. Back to the Orca's if you see 6,8,10 etc you would just assume they comply with women's clothing sizes.
Question & Answer
“These appear to be a "normal" rise, to the waist. Please confirm. And, if they don't fit may I return them? Thanks.”
UPF stands for ultraviolet protection factor.
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and uses a rating on fabrics and textiles such as the ratio of UV measured without the protection of the fabric (compared to) with protection of the fabric. For example, a fabric rated UPF 30 means that if 30 units of UV fall on the fabric only 1 unit will pass through. A UPF 30 fabric that blocks or absorbs 29 out of 30 units of UV is therefore blocking 96.7% UV. UPF tests are normally done in a laboratory with a spectrophotometer or a spectroradiometer.
