Nice quality compression tight. I bought these to wear nordic skiing under my ski pants or while running in cooler weather. They do run a bit small so I ordered one size up. Compression tights are suppose to be tight on and they fit perfect.

The product looked great, high quality, but we are returning. I bought this for my girlfriend. The sizing is strange. They have numbers like typical woman's sizing 6,8,10,12 etc. However, a 6 in an XS, 8 is a small etc. Don't understand why in the US they did not just put s,m,l. Make sure you check the sizing info. I bought some Zoot products for men recently, they do sizing in 1,2,3,4, and 5. So naturally you would check the sizing info since men's sizes don't run that way. Back to the Orca's if you see 6,8,10 etc you would just assume they comply with women's clothing sizes.

    • Answer UPF stands for ultraviolet protection factor.
Answered on 2/6/2012 12:00:00 AM by Prod. Spec. Ryan from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and uses a rating on fabrics and textiles such as the ratio of UV measured without the protection of the fabric (compared to) with protection of the fabric. For example, a fabric rated UPF 30 means that if 30 units of UV fall on the fabric only 1 unit will pass through. A UPF 30 fabric that blocks or absorbs 29 out of 30 units of UV is therefore blocking 96.7% UV. UPF tests are normally done in a laboratory with a spectrophotometer or a spectroradiometer.
