“Firstly- this is the 2009 Orca Sonar model. Secondly- I'm 5'7" have a 37.5" chest and weigh 135lbs. That puts me right in the middle of a Size 6, except below the recommended weight. Fits perfectly in length and chest, but perhaps a tad loose around the middle. So- unlike many reviews- I'd say the size description from Orca is right on! These swimming wetsuits are supposed to be snug, but flexible.
I've only tried out a handful of wetsuits, but the Sonar is a solid performer. Good bouyancy, stretchy panels in all the right places, easy to get off quickly- does the job...For a great price.”
