I have several different makes and models of triathlon shorts and these are among my favorites. Padding for cycling is very hard to notice while running, but gets the job done while riding. I have no sense of shame, so I don't mind the tight fit, and the compression is great on a long run. Leg hems have rubber sewn in so the legs didn't creep on me while cycling or runnning. While I'm sure there are better shorts out there, I doubt there are many at this price point, and for a recreational athlete like myself I can't see spending $100+ on a pair of shorts that won't go out and run the race by themselves. Next time I'm in the market for tri shorts, these will likely be my go-to choice.

First, let me be clear that I've only run in this shirt so far. I haven't taken it in the water yet, but from what I can tell it will work just fine. The bottom (Black in the picture) portion is compression material, and fits very snug. I didn't find it hard to breathe while wearing it, and I sized it the way I would any other shirt. While wear is comfortable, I did have a heck of a time trying to get out of it and I required my wife's help to pull it over my shoulders. I'm built a little wider and thicker than normal from years of weight training, so it may not be as big of a deal for more lanky runners. Bottom hem has rubber to help to keep it from riding up, and shoulders/under arm are great moisture wicking material. I would view this as excellent race day wear, but might be a bit more than necessary for a training run. I'm very happy with the purchase, and may look at purchasing another in the near future.

I've been using these for both running and cycling for long distance triathlon training and they've been great. Less bulky than biking shorts but still some padding for the long rides.
