Main display was fine, but in the set mode, the display was too dim to read. The battery indicator showed over 1/2 power, so it should not have been a low power problem. The watch has a lot of nice features, but working properly is a threshold issue for any purchase!! I returned it.

I use the watch for everyday use. I work in an emergency department and wear the watch daily. I have also worn it outdoors on hikes up to 14,000 feet and during workouts. It is easy to read and has some nice functions. Not to mention it becomes a conversation piece because of its size. When looking to buy I noticed that someone mentioned how theirs was easily scratched. I do have to second that opinion. I brushed against a wood shelf and alas mine has a small, 1 cm scratch on the face. Fortunately it is not large enough to hinder seeing the digits. Overall I like the watch.

I just bought a Rendezvous Peak from Sierra Trading Post a month ago. As a current Suunto and 5.11 watch owner, I have tested all three under combat conditions in Afghanistan (from where I am posting). The only thing I can say: the 5.11 and the Suunto are excellent watches, but they are sitting in my foot locker. When I am out on patrols or hunting IEDs, I have the Rendezvous Peak on my wrist. It's not as "clunky" as the other two, and I don't have to press a myriad of buttons to get to the function I want. Easy, tough, and an excellent value for the money.

This watch is excellent for the price. It has the same features as and better styling than many much more expensive watches. After a couple weeks of wearing, the altimeter and barometer seem accurate. One downside is that the temperature guage picks up body temp, so it has to be taken off to get the most accurate reading.

A good general purpose watch, with most features desired and provided with other upper end types. Compass works good, temp reading is pretty much like the others. (It is similar in function to the old Suunto green "6" NSN military model, before it went out of production.) Had a reversed model black face, but found it hard to read. This one is bette for a glance. The band hasn't given me any problems.

I like the Atl. function.It has made travle more fun. The band is stiff, unconfortable and non- replaceable.

I use the watch for everyday wear, hiking, camping and hunting. I really like the reverse display, comfortable band and alarm. The alarm is not very loud, so if you sleep heavily while out camping (as I do) you will definitely miss out on the morning fishing/hunting. I scratched the bezel merely by cleaning it with my shirt. [...]It seems that even if you calibrate the altimeter and compass, the high tech gadgets on this watch are not very accurate, so do not rely on them. Other than that, it is a good watch.

Good watch. Very easy to work with. Temp sensor is a LITTLE OFF, but not by much. I like the basic readings of the dial! Would def recommend it forward to anyone looking for a good outdoor watch!
