I sent it back immediately, because of a permanent 12 Celsius grades inaccuracy, while I removed it for hours from my wrist! The air pressure proved accurate, though. The altimeter needs to be calibrated on sea level airpressure, but does not reckon with normal pressure changes, so continual calibrating seems necessary...

Neither the altimeter nor the thermometer are very accurate.

I would have been happier if the watch came with a new battery. I can't wait to test it out during my next big hiking trip.

This watch is awesome with all the gadgets you need. Very easy to use right out of the box. I had some battery issues and replaced the battery 2 days after getting the watch, then 2 days later it said the battery was low, AGAIN!! I took the new battery out and waited a few seconds before replacing and everything is fine now, must have been an electrical issue. If I have any other problems I will call the Origo website and clear up. Otherwise, this watch can be dressed up or used on the trail.

i own other compass/barometer/altitude/watches but this is the best looking... can barely hear the alarm though...

I first ordered the black face w white numerals, almost impossible to read in any condition other than great light. My local outlet store was very good about taking it back and ordering the light face model.

Bought it for the great features but, it has a custom wrist band. I cannot find replacement wrist bands anywhere online. When the rubber band ages and splits as they all do, I'll be stuck with an expensive watch I can't get a watchband for!
