“I have not field tested this product yet. However, in my living room I assembled the whole set, ate cereal and drank both hot (boiling water) and cold beverages without the dishes flying apart, unfolding, or leaking. Liquid rises to a higher level in the folded part of the dishes because of capillary action but as long as you don't fill the dishes overly full and use common sense you should have no spills. Once the dishes have been folded they don't go back to their pristine flat shape. This was more extreme in the cup I used hot water in. My only real concern is that the creases may weaken and tear after folding and unfolding numerous times. Overall I am highly satisfied and I would buy this product again.”
