There was conflicting information on whether it had a laptop sleeve but I too a gamble. Well, it doesn't have a sleeve and the computer compartment isn't padded at all. The back wall is plastic and has plastic bolts almost sticking out and there's no padding at the bottom as well. You'll need to put some soft cushioning (bubble wrap?) at the bottom and use a rather thick sleeve to protect your computer.
The QL2 system is OK, I wish I got the QL3 which keeps the hardware on the rack instead of on the bag. It's also a bit heavy but I guess it's expected with all the protective plastic.
Other than the said flaws, the bag is pretty good quality and looks quite sleek. I think it's a good value if the price is right. -

Works as a great day bag for a ride on the towpath. The angled mount design results in your feet not hitting the bag while providing a stylish look. This appears to be a closeout item, but Orlieb makes a similar bag in differing colors. A fine addition to anyone wishing to carry small amounts of gear with them on the road, in addition to those commuting to and from their office or other place of work.
