Could be better

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This product is okay, but for the price it could have been engineered with more versatility (i.e. have the option of which side to have the panel fences pull out from). It wouldn't be much more difficult to make the shelves fit on either side and therefore have the panels fit on either side(therefore allowing the opening to be at either end). Also, it would be nice to have a latching feature so that the dog cannot push the fence open.
