    My wife is stylish in the classic sense, not trendy. This skirt fits that mold perfectly. It is very attractive in color and design but is not glaring or in-your-face. It is of good fabric worked in the hands of capable makers. My wife is quite short, so the skirt had to be rehemmed; but she and I are both very pleased with it.

    Fabric has a luxurious hand rarely found in the current ready to wear market. Wool/ cashmere blend. Dyes are beautiful. I plan to wear it with a printed sweater with scenes of a fox hunt.

    I wish there were some elastic at the waist so that it would snug up a bit. I've taken it to a tailor to have that done. It's also a smidge too long, but I wanted a warm skirt, so longer is better.
