Orvis Flattering Drape-Front Dress Swimsuit (For Women)

This is a very well made suit and has a unique draping style. The skirt length about mid thigh, is perfect if you want to cover up the lumps and bumps of the upper thigh .Has a Grecian feel to the style which I love. The one sided drape is over the basic suit so not revealing in any way. Unfortunately for me, it only is available in a 16 which is a bit loose in the bottom for my newly reduced figure. Very flattering with good support and quality material. Wish it were one size smaller :(

I can't believe how good I feel when I put this suit on. It made me wish they made dresses with this sort of bodice fit.

I have had a few months to try this out at different venues over the summer -- swimming pools, waterpark, running around after little kids, etc. I ordered this suit because I didn't get back into my post-pregnancy tummy/chest fast enough for summer, and in particular wanted to hide the middle flab from baby #2 but still be able to run around with the two kids at the pool and waterpark without feeling terribly self-conscious. Normally a 14, I ordered the black in a 16 and found that it fit perfectly in the chest area and torso length, but was a little baggy in the behind. Luckily the skirt on the suit covers that issue right up. Although the side-wrap/toga style feels a little awkward to me, and the asymmetry of the shoulder straps is weird (although not really noticeable to casual observers), I feel comfortable at the waterpark walking around in the fountains with the kids, and sitting on the side of our community pool. For some reason the hubby seems to really like the look, asymmetry and gathered waistline and all. I have mixed feelings about the skirt itself -- it is great for covering up shaving issues and pulling eyes away from thighs, but just doesn't work when out in the pool itself. The skirt totally floats up and is swirling around you. If you swim a lap, it twists around. I can live with it until I get back to regular-swimsuit form.

i LIKED THE FIT AND FEEL OF SUIT. IT JUST WAS NOT NEAR AS SLIMMING AS OTHER SUIT i PURCHASED.

I will wear this on a family vacation. I can see putting it on in the morning, having breakfast, then grabbing a towel and heading to the beach or pool. It's almost like a built-in cover-up! I can swim casually, wade, and collect shells in it. I wear a 12 or 14, but ordered the 16 thinking I could give it to my mom if it didn't fit. It fits me perfectly!

slimming quality, excellent design, comfortable

This is the first swimming suit I have bought in many years. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on and it fit right and was flattering! I will wear it when the opportunity for swimming presents itself.
