“This is a sharp, nicely finished jeans jacket in good quality canvas with a finer & tighter weave than most 'work' jackets. Stitching and seams are tight and all of the edges are finished, so durability should be good enough that you might eventually need one of the extra, riveted buttons that they've included. Pockets are roomy, nicely detailed, and everywhere you'd expect them to be in a jacket of this type. It's casual wear, rather than work duds, so when I need something tougher or with more pockets or that's more wind & water-proof, I grab my tin-cloth instead. The fit is just a bit different for Orvis. I have a lot of their stuff in size small, and it always ends up running just a shade on the tight side. I tried hard to shrink it, but the jacket I bought (in a medium) feels a lot more like a 40 than a 38, and even then I'd think there would be ample room to layer up. The sleeves are probably about right for someone who wears a 34 or so. I like this jacket so much that I'm tempted to put up with having it a size or size and a half too big, but more likely my younger brother just got lucky on it. My only quibble - and this is really nit-picking - is that there is no loop anywhere to hang it up. This kind of jacket belongs on a nail or hook next to the dummies and leashes; a hanger just seems kinda fussy.”
