    This jacket would be a bargain at five times the price I paid for it. One of my other favorite jackets is an Orvis suede from several years ago; this is the only jacket I've ever seen that's better than the older one. I knew it was special when I saw how it was wrapped, with paper-covered buttons, etc. The workmanship is the best I've ever seen in a lightweight jacket at any price.

    Gift to my friend/housemate. He is wearing it almost daily here in Wa State. Love all the pockets. It is casual but far more attractive than the parka he had been wearing on the bus to work or when we went to the tavern. You know, a woman wants the guy she is with to LOOK GOOD. Nix on multi-hued parkas and sneakers and floppy jeans. Gotta dress up your man, teach him a thing or two. There's casusl (like this jacket) and there's swissy pants. Horrors on the latter!
