Late Fall or winter weather shirt. Colors not as vibrant as picture, but still look good. Did not shrink or change appearance after first washing, Good buy especially as a BarnBurner. The Large fit perfectly (6'1", 190lbs.).

It looks much better on the website than in person! In the description when they say "fall-winter-weight fabric," they should just come out and say "FLANNEL" as that is what it is. After you wash it, the pattern no longer lines up when you button it and looks like something you've had for years. The colors look very vibrant but they are just the opposite! I bought a large and it's so big I could wear it over another shirt to keep warm on a cool spring/fall day. The only good thing I can say is it is comfortable but what flannel shirt isn't? I can see why it was a "closeout" and since it was just that, it wasn't worth sending back.
    • Best Uses: Outdoor Activities
    • Cons: Bad Color, Sleeves Too Long
    • Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish, Trendy
    • Pros: Comfortable
    • Sizing: Feels too large

About Orvis

Charles F. Orvis opened a fly-fishing shop in an elegant brick and marble building on the main street of a small town in Vermont. The year was 1856. Today Orvis is a bit bigger, but they still pride themselves on quality products that are steeped in authenticity and desired by discerning customers. Orvis will always be about fly fishing. And it's also about products that enhance the country lifestyle... like gear and accessories for wing shooting, creature comforts for dogs, and classic apparel for men and women. Orvis says 150 years is a long time to be in business...and a "pretty good start."
