Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have two toy fox terriers, and while they are small in stature, they think they are really big. They both like to sleep against a bolster, and this bed is just great for both of them without making them invade the other's space. It fits right where I planned on putting it, and the cover is removable for cleaning. I have bought Orvis dog products before, and you can't beat the quality and durability.
