    Soft, quilted for warmth, microfiber, very English traditional, and comfortable for walks, outdoor work, car coat, in town coat, heading to the coffee shop, etc. (All you need are rubber Wellington boots and a hunting rifle or shotgun, with a cap and you get the picture. Actually, the style is very classy; the workmanship is great from Orvis's manufacturers, and this is a winner. No puffy down jacket necessary -- wear a wool sweater underneath and you're set. (Good autumn color in burnt orange, too!)
