Rube Goldberg pants, NOT Capris

I plan to return these. They remind me of Julie Andrews/Maria when she made the von Trapp children clothes out of drapes. They almost need to be hemmed. The waist is so over-generous that someone took a "tuck" on one side of zipper, creating a makeshift "pleat " on one side only. The cut of legs is also very wide & flowing, like curtains.

Orvis clothing runs large but I knew that and ordered a medium when I would normally order a large in other brands. I'm a middle aged woman with ample hips and these slacks give me the room and comfort that I like. They will be perfect for hot weather.
