Orvis TR Canvas Adventurer's Vest - Leather Trim (For Men)

Though others expressed reservation about the belt at the back, I tried it. I discovered that it's not so much the belt, but the bulk of the full-canvas back. When you gather the belt to snug the waist, all that sturdy canvas, rather than a satin back, bunches up in the small of your back. I suspect the XL I ordered is made to cover larger waists than mine, but still, it would take years of wear (no washing with leather trim) to break in that stiff canvas. Nice looking though.

the only change I would make(and in fact did make) is to add two leather belt loops each midway from the side seams towards the middle of the back because when you wear the vest undone in the front, the Tensioning belt hangs way down past the hem in the back . I took it to a taylor and had them match the leather trim colour, and had them added. The vest is terific

Great for casual wear. Love the many pockets and quality.
