    An attractive dress that will look very nice with a soft jacket for a wedding I will be attending. I am planning to shorten it as full length does not suit me, but this should be easy. Also I will try washing the piece I cut off to see if the fabric really needs to be dry cleaned!

    On top of all the other Pro's, I can't believe that I could look slim and well toned wearing a lightweight rayon/silk dress, without resorting to constricting body shapers underneath!! Although comfort driven, I also like to look stylish. This dress has both comfort and a classic style. I had to shorten it a few inches since I'm five foot six but don't consider that a negative.

    Simple design and easy fit allows dressing up or down to fit occasion. Excellent for mature woman looking for something that is almost impossible to find now: modest coverage that is attractive and comes in sizes under 14. Why is it assumed that older women are all horse-sized????

    I realized most of my favorite dresses/skirts are Orvis; this is a great addition to my collection! I got this for my son's bar mitzva and will wear it to a summer wedding -- it's a bit too long for office wear. Dresses up nicely with jewelry but not too fancy for regular use.

    Simple basic well crafted dress. The colors run more green purple than blue. The fabric feels soft. What I like best about this dress is that it is so easy to wear. No fuss. There's a long side zip but you can just pull it down over your head. I will use it in summer, so I don't have to pick green-purple tops to match it. I like the long length. I would like it even more if it came in an off- white.
