Just the right amount of room to carry everything you need and nothing you don't need. Keeps you organized as well! Exactly the right amount of pockets - not too many that you can't remember where you put anything and not too few that things are mixed up. Also, every square inch is high quality. ... Read More

I think I like the bag. I got it because it wasn't too big, but can still accommodate my sketchbooks, camera, water bottle, sweater and a few other things without being too heavy. It is quite long and shaped more like a bucket so I may be digging into the deep bottom more than I suspected. It did okay on a one-week tour, I'll see how it does on the two month venture.

I'm really happy with this backpack. I bought two colors - the purple and the teal. The color was true to the online color, and the quality of the materials is really high - I'm really impressed. The backpack is not overly large - once I put my 17" laptop in there, there's just enough room for some papers and my lunch. You couldn't carry around multiple textbooks and a laptop in this. The backpack has lots of pockets, including a long one on the side for a water bottle. I'm really happy with my purchase and would recommend this backpack.

I needed a backpack to keep my laptop secure, with room for the other stuff I'd want to bring on my day (notebooks, sweater, phone, water bottle, etc). This backpack is super adjustable and therefore fits well, and has all sorts of little pockets for stashing everything. I had seen it and tried it on in a fancy bike shop, then found it for a much cheaper price on this site--and shipping was incredibly fast! Overall, great product and great experience buying it here.

  • Question “What exactly are some of the details that would make this bag a 2ND? ”
Asked on 3/31/2014 9:29:35 AM by mrsrllamb from Washington
    • Answer From my standpoint (that of the consumer) - nothing makes it a 2nd. From my research, the bag carries the same Osprey warranty, so if anything were to go wrong, Osprey will replace it.

    • Answer The bag that I was sent was very well made. No wonky stitching in sight. All fabric was the same color. I was really pleased with it. Though if I remember correctly - the info displayed for the bag was that it would hold a 17 inch laptop. My laptop did fit into the bag- but really oddly- it extended about 3 inches above the padded sleeve section. That then made the top flap not fit as pictured on the site, I was worried that it wouldn't hold up over time to securely fasten close with a laptop in it. It may be that the depth of the padded pocket was what made these bags seconds, or maybe they were just misstated as appropriate for a huge laptop. :)

    • Answer Hi! This message is a reply to the question about details that make the bag a 2nd. Honestly I don't see anything obvious. The stitching, hardware and other details look flawless to me. I got the dark gray one with lime straps. The straps are very long, and I'm going to get double sided Velcro to subtly tuck them out of sight. Also the bag is very deep. I can stick my arm in past my elbow, which means if I drop a wallet or sunglasses in there, I have to really look for them! But for books or sweaters, etc, the depth is great, and there are enough small pockets on the front to hold smaller items. Not sure if these details were intended to be the way they are? But, I love the bag and have gotten several compliments on it already. Answer in a nutshell: looks beautiful and sporty. No obvious flaws. I'm extremely happy with it and would highly recommend the bag.

    • Answer I have no idea. I didn't even know it was a 2nd. I haven't seen a single thing even slightly wrong with it.
