No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I bought these for River surfing, to protect my feet. I was looking for something sturdier than a wet suit bootie. The description said made for the Navy Seals. This is chinese junk. The soles offer no support and the uppers are cheap mesh. I replaced them with rubber sole fishing boots which were cheaper even though not on sale.”
