Pros:
Color, Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight, Side lacing, Water drains well
Best Uses:
Portaging, Wet-entry canoeing
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Purchased for wilderness canoeing. Was looking for alternative to popular jungle boots, which seem too bulky. Performed very well on an 8-day Canadian expedition. Wore with merino wool hiking socks and synthetic liners. Gripped relatively well on rocks under water. Side-lace design were out of the way of brush and debris. Boots afforded sufficient ankle support. Stitching of toe components is a real disappointment, considering MSRP. Complete drying takes time, unless boots are in direct sunlight. Would buy again only if substantially discounted.
