Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dennis from Cornwall, NY on Thursday, February 21, 2013I look forward to wearing it when the weather warms.
Reviewed by jim from Richmond Va on Friday, November 2, 2012This is not oilskin so it is not waterproof or windproof. I should have read the description better. Oilskin is not machine washable. That should habe clued me in.
It is called the Vincent hinting of the Vincent Black Shadow motorcycle?
Bottom line- This is not a motorcycle jacket, just a lightweight cotton jacket. Too tight in the back and shoulders if you wear a sweater under it.
- Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel
- Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser
- Sizing: Feels too small
- Sleeve Length: Feels true to length
- Was this a gift?: No

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Velo from New York on Tuesday, February 14, 2012This coat is terrific. I find it fits true to size and actually wish I'd gotten a medium rather than a large - I'm 5'10, 162, and it's a bit big unless i have a think sweater underneath. It's great looking (minus the belt - it's no trench!) and has become my favorite knockaround coat.
- Best Uses: Around town light winter
- Cons: Belt
- Pros: Good Looking, Good Value, Warm
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Granite Man from Granite State on Friday, December 16, 2011This jacket looks and feels great. The vintage-look fabric looks better in person than in the product photo. It's lightly insulated and warmer than expected: a perfect fall/spring jacket. One thing to be aware of is the slim fit. This nicely over a shirt, but over a sweater it's almost too snug. I'm on the trim side of a men's large, so if you're at the upper end of a size range, order the next size up. Sleeves are plenty long, and armpits are not binding. Only other drawback is the buckle at neck jingles like a sleigh bell, but that can be fixed. All in all, a great purchase: Belstaff style at a fraction of the cost.
