The tent is pretty good. the rain fly is a bear and I am redoing it to make it easier to assemble. Other than that its okay. Easier to assemble with help of one other person.

We set this tent up in moderate rain and strong wind. Once we got the fly staked the tent was very stable and waterproof. This is a big tent and staking in the wind was challenging.

This tent was a huge disappointment. Both the tent and the fly are made of the most flimsy material imaginable. Two of the poles must be pushed through an *arched* pocket that is way too small in diameter and the material tore on my first attempt to set it up. The guy lines also arrived frayed right out of the box. I returned this one immediately. Worst tent ever made ... don't bother.

This is an OK tent which would have been a nice tent except for one fundamental design flaw. While there is a back door, it has no screen. Without the rainfly (which is very nice - good vestibule) there is very little airflow, through a mesh panel in the ceiling, but with it on you have a choice between cross ventilation with bugs, or no ventilation with no bugs. It gets hot and stuffy inside very quickly if you have to button up from the mosquitoes. On the plus side, there is a screen between the front and back of the tent, a couple pockets, a loop to hang a lantern, and a great rainfly. Nice features which make the lack of a screen on the back door all the more inexplicable.

This tent has been set up at the beach along central California's Pacific for the last 4 weeks. It can get extremely windy and wet with wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph. There has been no problem keeping dry or warm in this tent. the Fly completely covers the tent and is totally waterproof. Plenty of room for two teenage girls that felt very secure and safe in it and very comfortable........Too heavy for backpacking, but great for a long cold, wet, and windy time at the beach or in the mountains. Two of us set it up completely in 20 to 30 minutes total time. Plus, a very reasonable price as always from Sierra TP
