    Just back from a trip to Sands and Forest in NM. This jacket performs perfectly. I didn't feel that hot in Sands(around 90F) and felt warm in Caverns. Hiking in mountain is pleasant too. Superlight weight is a plus.Haven't tested in raining yet. Usually I wear XS, and the S is slight large for a petite people. [...]

    I am glad I read previous comments that said this jacket ran small...it does. It is extrememly light-weight and am not sure how it will do on the top of a mountain but like the ease and weight for packing.

    This is a very, very lightweight (4 ounce) thin jacket. I am a size 2 but have big shoulders (I'm a climber), and a size small fit me well. The material is extremely thin, and unlined, but still stretchy. Water seems to just run off of the jacket and it is pretty wind resistant, although it has mesh ventilation panels in some spots. There is no hood. I intend to use this as an extra, highly packable layer for alpine, summer climbing, etc. It is very versitile. The only thing it could have used is a little stuffsack, as stuffing it in it's own pocket does not compress it down as much as it could. I think it may fit in a sandwich baggie though. The rust color is very attractive.

    This jacket is a versatile, lightweight item. I wear it while running and also while shopping or doing errands. Regarding sizing: I am usually a small, sometimes a medium, and bought a medium because of the comments others have made, and am happy with the fit. The medium is loose enough to be worn over layers and the cut is tailored enough that it doesn't look baggy and shapeless. I would have given it a five star rating, but the jacket's one drawback in my eyes is that the bottom of the zipper (which seems a little cheap and flimsy) is slightly off-center. So far (and I've used it quite a bit the last three weeks) I have had no problems, but I keep thinking it's going to get stuck and break on me.
