This is the 2nd one of this jacket I have. The first one is still in good shape after almost 2 years. This jacket is perfect for cold weather but not freezing weather. It can be put in a small stuff sack, so it travels well. I love it for SF, as the weather is never predicatable and covers you in all bases. I have also worn it as a layer in the snow. Does ok with light rain.

This looked like a good mid-warmth light-weight transitional jacket. I liked the slightly different quilting pattern, and the fact that the fabric was not shiny. The fit was ok, but not particularly flattering. It was a good length, but could have benefitted from a double zipper if it was snug at the hips. The thing I liked least about it, though, was the light grey color inside the collar, which always showed, and which looked out of place if worn open and collar laid open. Also, it would likely be a sitting duck for lipstick or makeup stain. Too bad, because it was a nice, light, transitional sort of jacket. Also, it would have been more useful if it compressed into an existing pocket rather than a separate bag you have to carry with you. It arrives inside the side pocket, but I would not want to forfeit the pocket just to carry the bag.
