“warm but no stitching on bottom hem”

“Pros: comfortable, feels good layered in super cold weather with wind (was in AK for several weeks), longer sleeves keeps my gloves on, good pockets (can keep pocket knife and tissues in breast zip.) Cons: The hem on the bottom of the jacket is glued, not stitched. After washing it twice (as directed), I realized this, as the glue and hem is coming undone, revealing the elastic cord underneath. This is really sad as the quality of the fabric (windstopper) and design of the jacket is great. It sucks that it is assembled rather badly! My husband has a similar (Marmot) jacket...and the bottom hem is stitched. He has had his for years...no issues. I like OR products, but this makes me angry about the quality.”
