Outdoor Research Cypress Shirt - UPF 30+, Long Sleeve (For Women)

i love the cut of this shirt. the XS is a bit large on me (from everywhere even around the hips which are usually my limiting factor) but since it has a very nice cut it looks good even like this, so it has a relaxed fit which is great for hiking but looks nicely cut, a win win situation. i got the blue for myself and then ordered green for my mother, so she'll also be able to go hiking and then stop for dinner and look good in her hiking clothes. i would say that the arm length is a little short but i have long arms so they are probably sized correctly (so i didn't grade the arm length).

I originally ordered the shirt in a large, but the bust area was way too small. Everything else in the shirt fit great. I'm a D cup so I'm use to things not fitting in that area, but it was very discouraging since I thought the shirt was so cute. Because of this I ordered an XL, and that seems of course too big everywhere, but the bust. Plus, if I move my arms the place between the buttons between my breasts splays open. I bought the shirt 'cause I am heading on a jungle trip in a few months, and the thought of wearing a shirt underneath doesn't really appeal to me, so I'm going to have to figure out what to do for this problem area and maybe have to get the shirt hemmed to fit me better.

I really wanted this to work as it was nylon & my favorite color, and looked cute from the front, but sadly returned it. The material was heavy for a nylon, so might not work for warm weather or travel (which is what I bought it for). I am a little hard to fit, but this top fit me worse than usual. The bust gaped, sleeves covered my fingertips, and the back "duck" went too long. However, the garment appeared very well constructed with nice unique touches and otherwise a nice style. This would probably work well for someone who is tall and not too large chested.
