Ok I have been testing dry bags to see how well they keep the water out. Guess what, MOST really stink at it. Its the roll down closer that leaks on ALL of them. Now this bag has TWO roll down closers. It works really really well. After 1 hour of the roll down closer about half under water it did leak through the first roll closer but only a few drops got past the second roll closer into the main bag. Thats BY FAR better than every other dry bag I have test that uses a roll closer which MOST dry bags use. There is a brand that uses a zip lock closer that is supposed to be totaly dry BUT they cost more than four times what this bag does. So if you need a dry bag thats actually dry this is it. If all you want is to keep things dry from say rain then any of the dry bags will work but if you use say a kayak were water could get into your hatches and the roll closer might get a little under water then this is the bag for you.

My husband took this canyoneering where we were swimming with our packs. At the end of our adventure, the dry bag had leaked water - my husband then wondered if he hadn't folded/secured the bag properly but I wasn't impressed (it has an internal roll top and an outer one). Our med kit was wet. I decided to send it back and not give the bag another chance.
