It is great. the only thing it needed was to be a bit bigger, and to have slightly more rugged fabric. This newer Drycomp Ridge Sack is exactly what I needed. Fully waterproof! Just the right amount of capacity for a day hike. Good selection of external attachment points. Still super light. Now a bit more rugged. Note that these DryComp packs do not have any kind of sophisticated suspension. They are really just dry bags with shoulder straps. But all things considered, they are great products.

I can't give 5 stars because I have not used them yet.||I got two of these dry bags to carry on top of my R1200GS saddle bags. At frist I wanted a dry duffle but the dry backpack does double duty. I know have a dry bag for the motorcycle ride and a backpack to use for hikes once we find a campsite. ||The dry backpacks are about the same size as the BMW Vario cases and should strap down nicely.
