Outdoor Research Elixir Gore-Tex® PacLite® Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

Perfect fit front and back. Arcteryx Beta was too short. Beautiful craftmenship.

Have always used OR products (gaiters, gloves), but this is my first time purchasing a shell. I love the fit. Jacket has plenty of room to allow for layers without being boxy/bulky. I have a fairly muscular build and finding outer layers that don't restrict movement is usually an issue, not so with this jacket. Have not had a chance to test out in heavy rain, but is made of GoreTex, and have full confidence in OR after using their Crocs for several years.

Great fit. Super Lightweight. And as always that waterproof stuff called "Gore Tex" Can't beat it. Many try and many fail. If it's not Gore Tex don't waste your money!

light weight, easy to pack, should be good on the bike.

It's a great jacket, not only waterproof but wind resistant and very breathable. Fitting is perfect for me, and it also stylish for daily wearing. But pit zips are a little tough to open and close. Overall, it's an excellent jacket.

I'm a 6'2" and pretty slim. At first the jacket felt a bit big for me but a good thing about it is I can wear a number of layers under it. So, at the end I don't think it's that big of a deal and I guess it's a question of preference as well. In general I like closer fit. I haven't been in the rain with it, cuts wind very well.

Well built and nicely appointed. No insulation to speak of, but fits well and appears waterproof.

Only had the jacket for a short time, but this jacket is much better than a different shell that I had purchased elsewhere. And the cut on this jacket is such that I am able to layer underneath it for when the weather is colder. I definitely would buy this product again.
