Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Qball from British Columbia on Wednesday, April 6, 2016Great waterproof pant, although as I am a small person, I found them a little wide for hiking, but they are perfect for spring skiing.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker Girl from Seattle, WA on Thursday, September 17, 2015These rain pants are excellent quality like everything from OR. However, I would not consider them lightweight. They are high quality gore-tex and will last a lifetime. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but what I love about them is the full-length side zippers so I won't need to take my boots off to get them on, and the built-in belt. My complaint about all of the other rainpants I've owned is that once they get wet, they start sliding off and I'm constantly having to hitch them up. With the adjustable belt, these should not have that problem. They are generously cut and since they were out of mediums, I ordered a large and wish they were a bit smaller. At 32" they are too long for me. For those lucky enough to get an excellent fit, these are a great value.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by mtnppl from Asheville, NC on Thursday, March 26, 2015Great pant. Using for hike in the Cascades. The size looks to be a regular cut. Legs are a little fuller but will work well with full zips to layer on and off.
Reviewed by Pam from Portland on Friday, March 20, 2015Great fit (curvy size 2-4 ) and the xs fits perfectly. have worn over light and medium weight wool tights. Seams perfecly taped. Love the full zippers.
Reviewed by webmamma from new york on Thursday, February 26, 2015If you have da hips and da a$$ these pants are not for you. If you are built more like a very tall skinny 16-year-old -- go for it. Nice pants.
Good for the pole-legged, not for the "women with curves." And I AM a medium.
Or, perhaps, just no sweatpants underneath.
Question & Answer
“Would someone with a sewing machine & basic sewing skills be able to modify these to a 28" inseam? (I wouldn't care if the stitched areas were not waterproof seams.)”
These are not able to be hemmed. They have a full side zipper down the side.
These pants are not insulated and are only a shell.
