I bought these for hiking and backpacking and couldn't be more pleased. Exactly what I was looking for. Since they span two sizes (8-10,or, 12-14), they do run a little large, (or small), if you are borderline. If you're a 10-12 size, I would recommend the medium (8-10), as they have some nice str... These should have been perfect, fit well and I like the material and color. The style just did not look good on my curves, plus not great for casual wear or gym wear.

OR has the best fabric-in all of their stuff. These shorts are really comfortable on a long car trip, as I discovered. My only complaint is that they are a little long (but I can hem them!)

Love the shorts. Bought them for climbing. But actually use them almost everywhere except going to work this summer. Soft, high quality material and quite stylish. Usually wear 0/2 size in jeans, ordered xs, a tag big but good for doing activities in hot summer. The peat color is rich and deep.

    • Answer Based on my experience, I would advise you order the 4-6. I like a 10-12 and ordered the 12-14 and found them too big. I re-ordered the 8-10 and they will do nicely. These shorts have a lot of stretch in them. They are very comfy and a nice length if you like a longer short. They dry quickly and resist water as well. Hope this helps.
