Nice fit, and warm. Haven't tested them below 40 degrees. Not the most attractive inside "grip" design, and like another reviewer said, the inside texture felt strange at first, but now feels comfortable.

I was really surprised by these mittens. They claim to be warm (I haven't really had to test them yet) but they are not bulky at all! They feel great on my hands. There is a grippy like design on the palms so my dog leash won't slip out of my hands this winter. Great mitten for the price!

My fingers/hands are almost always cold in the fall, not to mention freezing in the winter. I am inclined to carry gloves in all my jackets and leave an extra pair in my car, so I purchased these. Plus, I did some googling and saw that this brand "OR" and model got high reviews for warmth, so I went with it. Interestingly, these are actually mitten liners that can "stand alone" as gloves. They are nice because they are not too bulky. I wore them yesterday on a 50's plus temperature bike ride. My hands stayed warm w/out sweating. But I haven't as yet used them in freezing cold temps. One thing I will say--the material inside the glove did not have a very comfortable feel to my hands at first (almost chalky-like, a very dry feeling), but the more I wear them and possibly some oils from my hands wear off inside the mittens, the better they feel. Also, I really do not like the fact that "OR" wears so prominently on the front of mitten -- free advertising for the company.
