    In NYC we have been experiencing a very rainy spring. The very next day that I bought this hat I was wearing it. It really kept me dry in a heavy downpour. I use a cane, so I find an umbrella very cumbersome. This hat did take the place of an umbrella, and I am very pleased with it.

    I love this hat! Infact I bought two because I liked it that much. It has a strap that is adjustable and very comfortable. The strap keeps the hat on your head when it's windy! Which is great when walking your dog or any other outside activity. The under side of the brim is dark grey so even in the brightess sun your eyes feel comfortable and protected.

    Great hat like everyone else says...I got the Sand color and it is very neutral, true and nice.[...] Happy w/ hats' features it is better than my OR solar roller hat in that it's gore-tex, the brim being semi stiff should hold up well in a downpour I'll find out later today! With a good sale and a higher coupon code it was a great deal; just as I waited for it to be 8>)
