I had bought one for my husband years ago and it has held up well, remains waterproof; have some friends, too, that have had their OR Sombrero for years of use hiking, backpacking, etc. It is very lightweight, has an adjustable band on the inside with a velcro strip, the chin strap is adjustable and the slide stays put, the brim holds up well to wind gusts and is wide enough to keep your face dry of rain with light breezes. Nice to flip the sides up with velcro when not raining which gives it more of a cowboy hat look. Money well spent.

I also like the Velcro on the sides to hold the brim up. Very nice colors. Will have to see how it holds up over time.
